Pittsburgh, September 30, 2011 - Bayer has been recognized by BusinessWeek and Universum as one of the world’s 2011 Top 50 Most Attractive Employers.
Bayer ranks #35 on the Global Top 50 Engineering list, up from #39 in 2010. This list ranks the current level of attractiveness companies have as employers among career seekers with a business or engineering background. This ranking is entirely based on a survey managed by Universum Communications and is not open to influence.
For the ranking, Universum surveyed more than 160,000 career seekers, with a business or engineering background from the world´s 12 largest economies based on nominal GDP (Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain, U.K., and U.S.). The global ranking is separated into two lists—one based on the responses of business career seekers and the other on those pursuing a career in engineering.
This prestigious recognition follows a long line of national and local recognition Bayer has received. In September, Science Careers recognized Bayer on the 2011 “Top 20 Employers” list. Click here to learn more.
