Pittsburgh, September 21, 2011 – Greg Babe, President and CEO of Bayer Corporation and Bayer MaterialScience LLC, will present the lecture, “Sound Science: Creating an Informed Citizenry” at West Virginia University on Friday, September 23, 2011. The lecture will begin at 11 a.m. in Morgantown, WV.
The lecture is part of the Glen H. Hiner Distinguished Lecture Series at the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. The series is named in honor of the outstanding alumnus who established an endowment to support the deanship of the college.
Babe, a native of West Virginia, earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University in 1980.
